Holy Smoke

今天我休息，不用上班。早上我給我朋友電話，她被我電話吵醒了，我說抱歉啊，上次你吵醒了我，這次我吵醒你，公平了。她說是的。哈哈！

然後我們就開始聊天，我們一直聊，直到我聞到一股焦味。

我對我朋友說等一等，我拿著電話打開房間的門，直衝到廚房。哇塞，一屋子的煙，把我嗆的。那煙來源自爐子上的蒸鍋，那是我蒸的饅頭被烤焦了。驚魂未定，我馬上關掉爐子，打開窗口和門。

我朋友問我怎麼了？我說沒什麼，我說天氣太TNND的熱了，我打開窗口透透氣。我不想讓我朋友知道我做了這樣愚蠢的事情。這時我牆上的鐘指示11點，我和朋友聊天超了1小時就差點兒燒著了房子，忒鬱悶。

I have a day off today.  I called my friend this morning to see how she had been, but she was still sleeping.  I said I am sorry for waking you up, but you woke me up the other day, so we are even now. Fair?  My friend laughed, "Haha!"
Then we started to chat until I smelled something burning in my house. Frightened, I said just one sec. as I  rushed to my kitchen. Holy smoke!  My small house now was  filled with smoke that almost choked me to death. The source of the smoke was from the stove. What happened was I forgot that I had steamed some buns in the wok. I got carried away chatting to my friend and totally forgot about that. Now my poor and the very last two buns were burning with smoke coming out, looking like two pieces of hot charcoals.  I turned off the stove right away and opened all the windows and doors when I calmed down a bit.  My friend wondered what had happened.  I said nothing. I said I felt so damn hot ,  so I just opened the windows and doors. I didn't want my friend to know that I had done stupid things like this. Now my clock read 11 am. We had chatted for more than one hours, that was why I almost burnt my  house.  Frustrated.
