Fall or Spring?

After having seen so many photos involving Fall foliage, I went out last week, trying to catch my own Fall shots. Unfortunately, I almost did not see any signs of Fall. Leaves and grass were still green; flowers were still in blossom; Insects were still playing and eating; even the temperature was still in mid 80's. I was confused. Does the Fall come or not? The following photos are strong evidence that the Fall does not come to my area yet!

Shocked, disappointed, amazed, excited and relieved. What a mixed feeling!

Actually the orange butterfly is called monarch, which migrates from Mexico to Canada then back to Mexico. I met a lot in my area one or two weeks ago.
