Cut原意指「切、割、砍」，此處引申為「你的話令我『心如刀割』」。

2. [B][COLOR="darkorange"]They're just some other lies[/COLOR][/B] :「這隻不過又是謊言。」

口語中，我們可注意短語some other的用法，比如，拒絕見面的推託之辭「We can meet some other time.」（我們改天再見吧。）

3. [B][COLOR="DarkOrange"]a couple[/COLOR][/B]: 這裡可不是指一對夫婦，而是「幾個人」

  2〉「但不知怎麼著卻惹了你」

短語get to sb.在口語中常用來形容「惹怒某人，影響某人」，如Her constant nagging is beginning to get to him.（她不停地嘮叨，惹得他生氣起來。）在歌中，it可理解為「告訴朋友秘密這件事」，由此，「但不知怎麼著卻惹了你」更符合歌者的原意。

4. And I swear you'll experience that some day : 「我發誓總有一天你會嘗到同樣的滋味。」

5. kinda:  kind of的縮略形式，在前幾首歌里如「Any man of mine」，我們已見過類似的表達。

6. You may think that it's all forgotten: 「也許你想當什麼事都沒有發生過」

這句話日常生活中肯定用得到，尤其當男孩子認錯不徹底時，女友十有八九會這麼說。
