As I observe, there are many folks looking for English natives on the web to be their partners of English study. I am not quite certain how many of you have successfully found yours? Usually an English native does not need any English language partners at all. They may give you English lessons in exchange for Mandarin lessons or something else to help them learn about China, which is for the mutual benefit. I hope each of you can find the right partners for what you need, but this may not be simple.
From what I understand, more than two third of the people in the world speak English with their foreign accents, especially those from India, Pakistan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippine, Korea, Japan, etc. If there are opportunities we can talk to any of the non-native English speakers on a weekly basis, it will help us improve our oral English and learn different English tongues as well. Believe me, our English learning mates don』t have to be English natives. If there are ones available, we are more than happy to get acquainted with and to benefit from them. Otherwise, we can learn and improve English from each other as well as from any non-native English speakers. |
