ANNOUNCEMENT: POSITION OPENING
The Board of Education is seeking applications for the following position:
CHINESE TEACHER (Immersion Program)
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. NJ Certification: Teacher, World Language, Elementary
2. Familiar with the NJ Core Curriculum Standards
3. Strong interpersonal skills
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Proven understanding of effective teaching strategies
6. Adept interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, students and parents
7. Evidence of successful potential as demonstrated in student teaching, prior experience, references, interviews
8. Strong leadership and organizational skills
9. Ability to work with children with disabilities
10. Knowledge of curriculum modifications and modifications required
11. Bilingual/Second Language education required
12. Knowledge of basic software applications – Word, Excel, etc.
13. Knowledge of immersion programs
DESCRIPTION: Provide instruction and design curriculum for an Elementary Immersion Program.
