怎麼結束在美國這種不死不活的生活?

國內一流大學本科, 美國一流大學博士, 在矽谷一流公司工作,年薪10來萬. 一切好像不錯,生活基本沒問題. 但和國內的同學親戚朋友比起來, 總覺得象個小混混, 過著不死不活的生活. 要比錢, 每年存個幾萬美金, 沒比他們多多少; 要比生活水平, 那更差遠了, 吃喝住行, 好像都不行; 最關鍵的是前途, 在這裡只能做打工的, 能當個部門經理, 頂天了. 不象國內的, 不是官越做越大, 就是公司越開越大. 象新東方的幾個老師, 都成實打實的億萬富豪了.

想要回去找工作, 國內哪能有這麼高薪的, 再說靠打工想致富, 在哪裡都不現實? 想要回去找事業有成的哥們靠靠, 也拉不下這臉,堂堂美國一名牌大學博士, 還要去投靠中學里經常不及格的, 太對自己過不去, 況且也沒到走投無路的地步. 想要回國開公司, 我那幾十萬美金, 有毛用, 想從銀行里當官的親戚朋友那裡撈出來一些, 那即使不犯法, 也得考慮別人的政治前途.

國內有不少親戚朋友在當大公司的老總和銀行里管錢的, 總覺得是筆不錯的資本. 如果有自己的公司的話, 就是靠正常業務, 也可以做出一些事業來. 在這裡混日子, 眼看年紀開始大起來, 都說三十而立, 現在看看自己, 什麼都沒有. 真是急啊! 再這樣下去, 以後中學同學的畢業聚會都沒臉去了. 現在一回國, 誰都覺得我們好像在美國受苦受難似的. 尤其人民幣一直看漲, 等真的漲上去的時候, 真是什麼都沒了.

不知道有什麼地方, 可以找有志同道合, 回國創業的? 譬如象國內的歐美同學會之類.在矽谷一帶, 可以經常聚聚的最好了. 有這方面經驗的, 多多指教啊. 只要有不是小打小鬧的機會, 放棄在美國的一切, 不會有一點猶豫.



和大學同學比, 可能能上70%. 和中學同學比, 頂多上50%了. 我在美國有什麼? 就一輛車子, 加幾十萬美金存款. 房子還一直是租的, 因為一直在找回國的機會.

我中學同學里, 不說那些有自己公司的, 資產都有上億的, 就是在國內上上班, 也房子,車子齊了, 還沒有貸款的. 存款不會比我少多少. 我們那小破縣, 上胡潤百富榜的, 都有好幾個.

有不少是哥兒們. 什麼底都很清楚. 況且我們那邊那樣子也很普遍. 不信的話, 你真可以去我們浙江逛逛的.

看看這裡的人, 能替人打打工, 安穩過日子, 就覺得不錯了.

看看我們老家那裡, 小學畢業的, 照樣有魄力, 搞個橫店影視城, 一堆大明星, 大導演, 大記者, 整天都只好來我們小鎮上混日子; 那邊還有個義烏小商品城, 那裡幾萬個攤位, 開廠擺攤的, 都是初中高中畢業的, 哪個不是每年掙上百萬的? 我的那些只有初中高中畢業, 照樣走南闖北,說著蹩腳的英文, 國內國外的生意都敢做.

這裡一堆大博士, 都只想混混日子.要做事, 魄力還是最重要的. 要創業, 看來找中學的哥兒們可能也比找這裡的一堆大博士強. 難怪前一陣子, 看了份矽谷里的創業報告, 學術界來開公司的, 99%都要倒閉的.

總算徹底明白了一點. 中學的, 要混得比大學的好; 大學的, 要比出國留學的好. 書讀多了, 銳氣都給磨沒了. 幸虧我是浙江人, 沒有從小開始的親眼目睹的熏陶, 要不也要毀在這裡. 要創業, 還是得找浙江老鄉優先.

老家浙江來的,和在美國留學的大學同學比比, 好像混得算不錯的. 和中學同學一比, 真是沒得比, 有點沒臉見人的感覺. 要說教育, 他們自然沒人能和我相比. 要說靠得住的關係網, 我也比他們好很多. 可就是沒他們做得好. 在美國混, 也就表面工資高一些, 除此之外, 好像什麼都不行. 現在有一種強烈的感覺. 人生一但沒選好路, 沒能跟上大形勢, 再這麼努力都不行. 選的路, 決定一切.

人生一但沒選好路, 沒能跟上大形勢, 再這麼努力都不行.

Your strength is working for somebody else and making salary, and you probably have jumped companies to companies to seek higher salary( that was why you were never promoted, because your boss figured that you were not there for a long term). You saw your friends making a lot of money in China, but you did not see the time when they failed miserably. I almost can guarantee they had, every entrepreneur does. You will have to be able to bounce back from down, again and again. So, you need to ask yourself, do you have the guts to lose everything you got, and come back from it? Therefore, before you envy your high schoolmates success, you need to need to make some decisions.
If you can't even stand to lose $10 that you could have saved from purchasing an item at wrong place, then forget about success in China

像作者這樣的心態,一輩子都不會快樂!
人與人之間,沒有公平二字,除了個人的努力,每個人都有個人的運氣,比如同樣是娛樂圈的美女,有的當明星 嫁入豪門,有點則每天為生活奔波。同樣是買彩票,有的人高中,一夜暴富,大多數則白白貢獻。
同樣,那些看起來飛黃騰達的人也有他們的煩惱,焉知他們不羨慕你的生活?表面的浮華,總會煙消雲散,生活還是踏踏實實,實實在在點好!知足者才能快樂,也才是真正會享受人生的人!

太,太。。贊成你的觀點了! 本人與你同省,也在美國拿了PHD,也有不錯的年薪。。。對,要做大事,就要回國,我已經開始。。。「苦海」無邊,回頭是岸,只要去做,路就出來了。
