It is true that the numbers of applicants to US medical schools appeared to gradually decrease in recent years. Last 20 years, the numbers of foreign-trained physicians who practice Medicine in USA have grown 50%. However, their incomes are about 70% of US-trained physicians based on an AMA report.
This is absolutely wrong statement. most of RN is salary based, the payment from most of the physician are fee for service. how much money the doc can make totally depend on how hard they are willing to work. trust me, most of docs are hard working people, that is why they pick up the medicine as their profession.
FMGs make less money because most of them work for some other doctors, and they are paid by salary. If FMGs can work for themselves, usually they work harder than USG. they will make more money.
