To obey God is a basic requirement of God's people; whereas to disobey Him is the explicit sin against God. God surely blesses whoever obey His commandment; but punish the ones who violate His law and statutes.

1 Gen 49:10 "The scepter shall not depart from Judah,
Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet,
Until Shiloh comes,
And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.
6 Rom 5:19 For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
7 Rom 6:16 Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin resulting in death, or of obedience resulting in righteousness?
