Biblical Teaching on Obedience 串珠讀經 - 遵從

To obey God is a basic requirement of God's people; whereas to disobey Him is the explicit sin against God. God surely blesses whoever obey His commandment; but punish the ones who violate His law and statutes.

Let's learn the biblical teaching on obedience and humble our heart to the sovereignty of God.

1 Gen 49:10 "The scepter shall not depart from Judah,
Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet,
Until Shiloh comes,
And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

2 2 Sam 22:45 "Foreigners pretend obedience to me;
As soon as they hear, they obey me.

3 Ps 66:3 Say to God, "How awesome are Your works!
Because of the greatness of Your power Your enemies will give feigned obedience to You.

4 Ps 81:15 "Those who hate the LORD would pretend obedience to Him,
And their time of punishment would be forever.

5 Rom 1:5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake,
