　　中國官方首次承認，中國警方「出於自衛」於周日(16日)向四川阿壩地區的藏族示威者開槍，造成四人受傷。

　　路透社援引中國官方媒體新華社的報道說，藏人聚居的四川省阿壩地區上周日發生騷亂，警方"出於自衛"而不得不向示威者開槍。

　　同時，報道還承認了藏人抗議活動已經由西藏拉薩蔓延到其他藏人聚居的省份和地區。

　　此前，中國政府曾公布有13名無辜群眾在拉薩騷亂中喪生。

　　但西藏流亡政府說，至少有99名藏人在衝突中喪生。

　　新華社的報道說，不法分子於周日(16日)襲擊了阿壩地區的商店的政府機構，造成巨大損失。警方為了自衛向示威人群開槍。該社早先的一篇報道還說，有四名"暴徒"被警方擊斃，但隨後又對其進行了更正。

　　正在中國西部的BBC中國事務編輯陳時榮說，中國西部部分地區的安全局勢非常緊張，不少抗議人士遭到逮捕。

　　此外，中國政府正在加緊向藏族聚居地增派軍車。在拉薩的最後一名外國記者也被驅逐。

probably three rioters were dead since so far the government maintain the claim of 16 dead but the government only listed 13 as innocent victims.

as i said before, obviously the government wasn't well prepared. they didn't even think such event would happen in 四川阿壩地區. looked like there is no riot police in that area at all.

happened during the meeting of national congress, wow, that was well orchestrated and well coordinated.
