A respectable person from Backchina (he wished to remain anonymous however) gave a more polished translation with a couple errors in Sun's version removed. I copied his version below:

for me, I dun think I can translate out....

what about changing last sentence to

'why do you rush for my ruins?"

it is what the poet said to his elder brother, the emperor of the Wei state in the three kingdom period. the poet had to keep a manner that is appropriate for a subordinate to his superior.

I reckon it should be 「composed after seven steps」 rather than "Written While Taking Seven Paces", as in actual situation, he didn』t have the bloody opportunity to write it at all, my dear friend!
