[:446:] Chinese Aunt Job Description: Perfect opportunity for a mother to mix up her routine and make a little money
A young couple recently moved to Glenview, IL (on Chicago』s north side near the Glen of North Glenview Metra Station) is in search of a Chinese aunt to speak and teach basic Mandarin Chinese (Putonghua) to their 1 1/2 year old child. The child has already been exposed to Chinese and is able to respond to basic commands (e.g. where』s your nose?.. mouth? etc..), and the parent』s would like to continue immersing their child in the beautiful Mandarin dialect.

The position is not a babysitter or maid but is for the teaching and use of Mandarin Chinese in the child』s formative linguistic years. It is expected that during the visits Mandarin Chinese be spoken almost exclusively. Visits would be 3-4x a week on weekdays and be between 5-6 hours per day. The child』s mother would be available to arrange for transportation to and from the Metra station and an hourly wage and travel stipend will be arranged for after discussions.  

The ideal candidate is a young mother with a child/children between 1 and 4 years old that loves children and is interested in the idea of children interacting.

This is the perfect opportunity for a child loving, native Mandarin speaking mother, able to communicate in English, to get out and meet some wonderful parents and a new playmate and make a good money.
