美國的經濟 三

地平線上有幾片烏雲. 一些月度投資支出指標開始減弱. 住房建設開始下滑, 外國經濟狀況令人擔憂, 歐洲經濟增長大幅放緩, 中國正在努力遏制美國關稅的影響, 今天道瓊工業指數下跌 600點。我不是經濟學家，並不是太了解美國的經濟。只是感覺今年的感恩節聖誕節，好像買東西的人流也不怎麼樣。我也沒法找到好的工作。也在為將來發愁。看著美國和中國，世界其他地方打貿易戰。打了又怎麼樣呢？美國是世界上GDP最高的國家，可是那麼多的債務，貿易的逆差，這樣的經濟結構，能維持多久呢？真正能改變世界產業結構的高科技，進行得怎麼樣了？

There are a few clouds on the horizon. Some monthly indicators of investment spending are beginning to weaken. Housing construction has started falling, and foreign economic conditions are worrisome, with European growth slowing sharply and China struggling to contain the impact of US tariffs. The Dow Jones industrial average is down 600 points today.  I'm not an economist, and I don't know much about the American economy. It just feels that this year's Thanksgiving and Christmas, it's like there's not a lot of shopping going on. And I can't get a good job, worrying about the future. Watching the United States and China fight a trade war with the rest of the world. Then? The United States is the world's largest GDP country, but so much debt, trade deficit, with such economic structure, can it maintain how long? How is the progress of high technology that can really change the industrial structure of the world?
