道德經 第五十九章 治人事天

治人事天，莫若嗇。

夫唯嗇，是謂早服。

早服謂之重積德。

重積德則無不克。

無不克則莫知其極。

莫知其極，可以有國。

有國之母，可以長久。

是謂根深固柢，長生久視之道。



【現代解析】

管治人民，遵循天然，莫不過就是要珍愛。

只有珍愛，這樣才能提早介入。

提早介入就是重視逐漸累積成果。

重視逐漸累積成果就沒有什麼不能征服的。

沒有什麼不能征服的就能不斷擴張。

不斷擴張就可以擁有國家。

擁有國家的根本基礎， 就可以長久持續。

這叫做根基深扎而固實底部，長遠發展永久存在的道理。

Governing the people and following the laws of heaven, is no more than cherishing.

Only cherishing will let you plan everything early.

Planning everything early is respecting harmony and accumulating prestige.

With Respecting harmony and accumulating prestige, there is no place cannot be conquered.

No place cannot be conquered will result in continuous expanding.

Continuous expanding will build up a country.

Having the country』s foundation will make the country sustainable and lasting long.

This is called deep root and firm base, the law of growing continuously and existing long.
