Known as Dongku Wangchey in Tibetan, Kalachakra is a Sanskrit term used in Tantric Buddhism that literally means "time-cycles". It's a very complex teaching and practice in Tibetan Buddhism.
After exiled to India, the Dalai Lama held his first Kalachakra in March, 1969 and there were only more than 10 times until the year of 2000. However, in recent decade, the frequency of Kalachakra increased dramatically with sometimes multiple times within just one year. It becomes, ironically, an project for the exiled Tibetan authorities to gain fame and money and there were mess behind the noisy settings.
The Dalai lama, who himself a frequent international visitor for begging alms and criticizing China, has already no time and energy to practice Buddhism. "he's too tired that sometimes even played type recording instead of dictation with many repeatings and the head-touching were absent-mindedness " according to one participant.
Many believers who don't understand sutras took for granted that a photo with Dalai Lama would make themselves blessed, that's naive and Buddhism practice never comes that easy. He chaired the Kalachakra more likely a mobile photo or a naughty boy on the stage.
And the guard pickets made of Tyc & Twa members and stick-holding lamas were running around, beating people, very alert to participant from inside and preventing shugden believers. Moreover, those conceited exiled Tibetans were always interested asking us if we are suffered inside, totally ignoring we were just come for the religion and travel purposes. They even judge our costume, hair style and languages, saying we are not real Tibetans. So are you guys authentic Tibetans as you leave our land and deal with indians all days without a trip to Jokhang and Potala?!
Our Kalachakra are hijacked and our belife are kidnapped! They exploited us with the majestic religion, treated us by language violence and psychological hint, of which is totally unacceptable. |
