There is an interesting study about war: The Gods of War by Meic Pearse.

His amazing conclusion in the study of wars in human history:

"there is only one thing that bears a heavier responsibility than religion as a principal cause of war.  And that is ... irreligion."

"Secularism, it seems, has causes far worse conflicts than has religions." (p.28)

Perhaps Mr. Chico can read and study this book for balance and objectivity.
