Forgive me if you may, I sense you had a bad taste of Apostle Paul's writings. Paul is argueably the most appealing testament to what a new life Lord could bring to a sinner. Paul might have been a loud mouth, but without his teachings, Christian theology would not have been what it is today. He was the one recording down what love it means in God's revelation " Love is patience....love never fails". He was the one laying out what a saving grace Christ is in the good news. He put together fundamental doctrines among Sin, Laws, Death, Rebirth, Grace, Ressurrection, Righteousness, Hope, Faith. In one word, Paul made the Cross alive.
His remarks on Women's limited roles in church (spiritual) gatherings should be taken into historical contexts and cultural backgrounds. Obviously the barriar has been broken as women become effective preachers today. |
