you idiot, have you heard of a word called "KATUSA"? it stands for "korean augmentation troops to the united states army".in later of korean war, most of soldiers in army units were korean soldiers. yes, they were us amry units, not army units of republic of korea. that tradition extends to now. all of their benifits are paid by us government and they have priority for the immigration to the states after the service. in fact, most of koreans want to serve as "KATUSA" soldiers instead of the army of ROK. it is almost like college exams for those young south koreans.
