--------Actually the whole Chinese community here in a deep blue state , 90% support Trump. Nowadays, conservative ideas is more aligned with our traditional value. Although it is sad to see US-China relationship going south, but Communism is evil anywhere on this globe, so we are mostly fine with Trump going after Chinese government. It is just a sad fact , we are small in numbers and our votes do not matter much in a deep blue state. Political correctness and BLM are crazy here, a yard sign or bumper sticker may cause you trouble or lose friends in real life. So we are staying quiet, but when it comes to voting day, I will definitely vote red , as in 2016.

-------This just shows that people do not really understand Chinese recent history. Cultural revolution is a war CCP started against its own people. More people died during that period of time than a regular local warfare. People who starved to death is around 30 million, which was just the death toll from famine. There are also a lot of people died from rioting, violence, incarceration, and , most importantly, from political oppression.
To Chinese people who grew up during that period of time and their next generation, it is even more traumatic than a local hot war because Cultural revolutionary WAR lasted for 10 years, the whole country and its people were Hijacked by the extreme left ideology, and hence close to 1.0 billion people were either be silenced or became part of the craziness.
A whole generation was out of school for 10 years, moral value was destroyed, tradition and religion was labeled as 'Sin', history was erased from books, and even book itself was burnt to ashes, not to mention those statues of historic figures, they were smeared, knocked down , just as what Antifa and BLM did to US.
It is a 'WAR' against Chinese people, against human kind, and now it is brought to United States. We suffered through it, it is a horrific nightmare, so when it comes to US, we recognize it immediately, even though now it is under a more deceiving cover. But socialism and communism never change, they are just evil.

Socialism sounds pretty, like a rosy dream, when it is a distance away from you. But when it really hits you who is not armed, who has given up your own right to the government for too long, you will find citizens are just like tiny ants in front of the humongous government machine, so powerless and hopeless.
People who never live under communism government will never understand why Cuban people, Romanian people, Russian people, and some of the Chines people will never want anything to do with socialism nor communism. Why I say SOME Chinese people? Because a lot of Chinese people were brainwashed to believe that the recent 20 years ' dramatic development in China is some kind of proof that socialism worked. But none of them could deny, in the past 20-30 years, China was more like free market capitalism at first, than national capitalism in recent years.
When the current XI jinping decide to lead the county backward into real socialism like Chairman Mao era in the past couple of years, the economy started to crumble. Now with AI and high tech, Chinese people are monitored 24/7 under surveillance cameras. You post a comment that disagrees with the government? Two hours later, National security is knocking on your door. Refuse to stop the antigovernmental speaking? you lose your job, lose your pension, and prison is waiting for you under various of ridiculous charges.
Ren zhiqiang was just sentenced 18 years for comment against the Chinese government during the pandemic. What is the difference that BLM and Antifa bully those who disagree with them online and in real life , smashing their windows, their cars, their businesses, trash/ burn down their residence, and force company to fire those who dare to openly speak again BLM & Antifa? Do we all have equal rights to believe what we choose to believe, and to speak for what we believe? OR maybe only the left , the BLM, and the Antifa has freedom of speech, all other people need to shut up and be ashamed of themselves?
