the kids are really happy stealing something from other family, hahahahaha
Miriam, is assuming your in laws are Buddhists? R u a Christian? Was there a time you guys discuss about god, religion or beliefs ?
Hi, I'm not religious and neither is my husband and his family. But my husband is very interested in Buddhism!
It is nice to see you and your husband have lots of conversation in the video. Nice moon cake.
Wow! I only knew Sushi Mooncake (蘇式月餅), Yunnan Mooncake (雲腿月餅) and Cantonese Mooncake (which is the most common form of mooncake),didn't know Qinghai has her own style of making mooncake as well! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
I always thought that moon cakes are baked till I watch your video. It is interesting to see that moon cakes are steamed.
I am wondering what is the reason behind the tradition of stealing moon cakes in Qinghai. It is great seeing your family getting together in making the moon cakes.
With the march of development, culture and traditions do get trampled towards modernity and hopefully, good traditions survive.
It is wonderful to watch your perspective and insight in the rural life and listening to your narration from the heart.
Seeing all that dough just makes me happy... and hungry. Happy Mid-Autumn Fest to your family
..awww this reminds me of baking with family in Norway...making tyske shiver and fyrstekake...so very special creating like this..
What a adorable family!.....btw, who gave a thumbs down? So negative! Must be some lonely human being hide behind the computer and jealous of somebody』s happiness!
