 宋詞英譯：【釵頭鳳】/唐琬   The first attempt ， 第一次試譯，譯得不足，不對的地方歡迎指正。

世情薄，人情惡，雨送黃昏花易落。曉風乾，淚痕殘。欲箋心事，獨語斜闌。難，難，難！
人成各，今非昨，病魂常似鞦韆索。角聲寒，夜闌珊。怕人尋問，咽淚裝歡。瞞，瞞，瞞

 Out there, it is a cruel secular heart,

  Same as the human touch, aloof and far,

  At dusk, flowers fall after rain starts,

  Tears are dried up in the morning breeze,

 and my face is left in stains, freeze.

  I try to write and set my heart at ease,

 leaning against the rail, talking, only me.


  Hard, hard, hard!

  Since we were forced to be separated,

  today and yesterday, no longer related,

  as if a swing rope, I am broken hearted.

 I feel cold heaing the distant trumpet,

  Before I know it, the night has been deep.

  Afraid of being asked why I am sad,

  holding back my tears, happy, I fake it.

Hide, hide, hide!

黃金榜上，偶失龍頭望。
明代暫遺賢，如何向？ 
未遂風雲便，
爭不恣狂盪？
何須論得喪。
才子詞人，  
自是白衣卿相。
煙花巷陌，依約丹青屏障。
幸有意中人，堪尋訪。
且恁偎紅翠，
風流事、平生暢。

青春都一餉。
忍把浮名，
換了淺斟低唱。 

The Crane's Uplifting Rush

On the Gold list,

Accidently I lost  the highest honor.   

At this golden age, talents are unused,

where to go further?

Haven't got any good opportunity,

why not do something crazy?

No need to think of gain or loss.

With dignity, the talented Ci writer,

naturally is the Secretary of State in white.

Smoke and flowers on roadside 

we are behind the screen inside.     
The lucky thing is I can see someone I like.

 Flowery gardens are where I patronize,

 Love affairs, the whole life's entertainment.
 All youth just stays  for a moment. 
 Alas! I cruelly  trade my fame alone

 with small sips of wine  and singing in a low tone!
