我穿過一首詩歌去品你

前些日子，我試著把農民女詩人於秀華那首紅極一時的《穿過大半個中國去睡你》翻譯成英文。有友人旋即給我發來普珉的《我穿過一座城市去肏你》。顯然，於秀華即使不是完全抄襲，至少也是受到普珉這首詩的啟發。出於好奇和好玩，我又試著把普珉這首詩翻譯成英文，希望在翻譯過程中品味它們有什麼異同。說老實話，翻譯這種直白的近乎口語的詩歌，既沒有什麼修辭的挑戰，也沒有什麼詩意的快感。

 

我只不過是想穿過一首詩歌去品你。

The bumpy taxi stirs my heart and imagination

Yet I can』t imagine how you』ve been waiting for me

I』m not sure if we』ve all been captured by imagination and passion

It』s night time when many are already in bed

Who are not panic and dreamy like I am

Nor are they tranquil and longing like you are

 

I go through a city just to FXXk you

The taxi』s radio』s airing sweet talks of love

A lady』s begging for advice

On how to get laid, despite her paralyzed husband

Her request』s doomed to be unfulfilled

There must be lots of loveless souls

While I』m going through a city just to fXXk you

Should there be one happy guy

It』s surely 「I」

Streets are empty, red lights blinking

It』d take me three hours or half a day to walk through

Yet walking means my happiness may turn sour

 

I go through a city just to FXXk you

I feel hot all over, as the winter night』s playing the tune of spring

Deep into the night, chilled by the air

I』m enjoying my moments of rumination on the way

 

From Outer West Ring to Outer East Ring

I go through a city just to FXXk you

The rollerblading rink』s gone

From Huai Yin Square, formerly called Youth Park, on the left---

I』ve lived in this city for too long

Strolling and relaxing here frequently, as if hearing  the bustle of the rink

Tonight, I pass it by to love my woman, to recall my youth

Its chill and darkness ignite me, enflame me

Taxies are running on busy streets

Stopping at red light, moving at green, crossing so many intersections

Sometimes stop and halt……others moan and groan…….

Sometimes speeding…….others slowing……sometimes steady…….others so bumpy……

Taxies roam straight ahead……taxies start out slowly or come to a halt…….

 

I go through a city just to FXXk you

City lights are waning on Quancheng Square---- the face of this city

Ambiguity』s intertwined with obscurity in the dark

When can I fXXk you just here, on the face of it?

Your cunt』s like a blooming flower, your legs teasing the stars

Your hands tearing my hair like a storm

Your waist swaying like a willow

You scream』s so loud it vibrates the moonlight

 

From Outer West Ring to Outer East Ring

I go through a city just to FXXk you

Had you been on the taxi

We』d have run through every avenue amidst the noise of love……

Through its longitude and latitude……

Through its old streets and rings……

Through its flyovers……..

Had you been on the taxi

We』d have fXXk all our way to Qingdao…….

Faces of the lonely dead are floating in the wind

On each side along the Jinan-Qingdao Highway

We are driven dizzy by the speed,

Amidst which I』m murmuring your name……

Your name

The secret of love

Which I will bury deep in the sea

 

I go through a city just to FXXk you

It would take 1 hour at dusk on the streets packed with cars

Anxiety would erode me: time for love being so transient, I have to capture you within my reach

The night is old , and I』ll join you in half an hour

The longer the time, the longer my anxiety, the shorter the time, the shorter my breath

 

I go through a city just to FXXk you

Crossing university after university, bank after bank

Securities agency after agency

Cinema after cinema, beauty salon after beauty salon

Plus mosques and churches

All on the left side

Where there』re Juetu Spring, Daming Lake and Jiefang Pavilion……

All in the dark, quieter than history even

The taxi goes straightforward, eastbound

Finally turning right and left before heading east again

 

I go through a city just to FXXk you

I go through the chilly night, through the wintery rain

Through a warm moon to fXXk you

I go through your stale and gloomy life

Through your heartache, your joy, your tears, and your desire to fXXk you

I fxxk you, on the chair, on the couch, in bed, I fXXk you in the music……

I fxxk you in one room, two rooms, three rooms, I fxxk you in heaven……

 

I go through a city just to FXXk you

I go through your hands, your long hair, your voice……

Through people you know or don』t know to fxxk you

I go through you, your youth, your adolescence, and your childhood to fxxk you

Your lips taste soft and sweet, and your slutty reputation』s second to none

Hey, You!

Even if I fxxk you my whole life

I can』t claim you』re mine

計程車顛簸我的心臟和想像。

可我想像不出你在怎樣等待我，

我不知道我們是否一樣被想像和激情捕獲。

這是在夜間，很多人都上了床，

他們不會有我的慌張和夢想，

他們也不會有你的安靜和期待。

我穿過一座城市去肏你，

計程車的喇叭在播送愛情夜話，

一個中年婦女在乞求指導，

指導她怎樣在中風的丈夫外獲取屌。

她的要求註定落空。

沒有愛情的人一定特別多，

而我正穿過一座城市去肏你，

要是有一個人幸福，

那人就是我。

大街空曠，紅燈閃爍，

如果是步行，我要走三個小時或半天。

如果是步行，我的幸福可能就是苦難。

我穿過一座城市去肏你，

渾身熱力四射，這個冬天

有春天的調子。這是在深夜，

冰涼的空氣叫我享受著路上沉思默想的時光。

從西外環到東外環，

我穿過一座城市去肏你，

左面是槐蔭廣場，原來的青年公園——

旱冰場已經消失，我生活在這座城市已經太久，

我常來這裡漫步和坐坐，還能聽到當年旱冰場上的喧鬧。

今夜我路過它去愛我的女人，去回憶青春，

它的涼、它的暗叫我灼灼燃燒。

計程車跑在繁華的大街上，

紅燈停，綠燈行，那麼多的十字街口，

計程車有時停頓……有時呻吟……

有時快……有時慢……有時平穩……有時搖晃……

計程車長驅直行……計程車緩緩啟動或停下……

我穿過一座城市去肏你，

左面是泉城廣場——這個城市的臉皮上燈火闌珊，

在黑暗中曖昧不清的事物縈繞不絕，

什麼時候我能在這裡，在這張臉皮上把你肏？

你的屄爛漫如花，你的腿激蕩星星，

你的手像風暴撕扯我的頭髮，

你的腰肢搖曳如樹，

你的屁股比噴泉高。

你叫喊、你的叫喊震動了月光。

從西外環到東外環，

我穿過一座城市去肏你，

要是你也在車上，

我們就在愛的聲息里跑完每條馬路——

它的經路和緯路……

它的老街和環路……

它的高架路……

要是你也在車上，我們就跑完每座橋——

上橋和下橋……橋上和橋下……

高架橋和立交橋……

要是你也在車上，我們就一路干到青島……

濟青公路的兩側，荒涼和死亡的臉在風中飄散，

在速度里我們暈眩，

在速度里我低低叫著你的名字……

你的名字，

愛的秘密，

我要把它藏進大海。

如果在傍晚，在爬滿汽車的街道上要跑1小時，

焦慮會毒害我：相愛的時光太短暫，我要一步邁出就抓住你。

現在是深夜，半個小時就能和你在一起。

時間長了我焦慮，時間短了我心跳。

我穿過一座城市去肏你，

我的一路上是大學和大學，銀行和銀行，

是證券公司和證券公司，

是清真寺和小教堂，
