Dear God, this woman... Was speechless when introduced to her incomparable voice back in elementary school...almost 30 years later, I'm still speechless. Beautiful!

The beauty of her skill had me in tears. I'm just standing clapping in front of my computer with the biggest smile on my face! So so good!! :)
She is just unbelievable, even now at 68 her voice has just as much vigor and tenacity.
It's hard to believe any voice can have such range flexibility and precision. To any instrumentists who say any fool can sing, I say listen to Ms. Battle!
I've always loved her diction. So clear.
Her top notes are amazing, no effort, no screeching....superb.
What a lovely rendition. I really enjoy her embellishments on the melody. Ms. Battle's upper register has no equal.
Right? She takes those high notes like nothing, like it's not even an effort. And she does it with full power and control and girly charm.

I'm always astounded at how Edward Witten seems to be a 100%, genuinely "good" person. He's full of passion for what he's doing, has a very realistic and humble view of his place in history and the field, and is very patient and understanding with questions.
what I also find honourable is that so much of this - which is his own ideas, he uses the term we rather than I or me. Just wanted to mention that and add it to this remarkable man.
It has got nothing to do with honor but more to do with an understanding that just because you came up with a certain idea it's not you who got it from scratch. everyone builds upon others work and If we succeed we succeed if we fail we fail.........that way you save yourself from your own ego and also embarrassment if latter was the case. He is a smart guy to know what's at stake.

like hearing the angels sing...such a beautiful woman and voice
Simply lovely and amazing! Her voice is as lovely as she is and no doubt a gift directly from God. The angels must sit and listen to her voice!
I've watched everyone from Maria Callas to Pretty Yende and this version is hands down the best ever. Best EVER.
breathtaking!  This is the kind of performance that in the old days had people throwing bouquets of roses up onto the stage.  Wow.
