7.6. A 2000 Year Old Case of the Herbalism 元年藥案
7.6.1. The 1st Gifts of Frankincense & Myrrh to the Newborn King 聖誕禮物：乳香 + 沒藥
「When they saw that the star had stopped, they were overwhelmed with joy. On entering the house, they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they knelt down and paid Him homage. Then opening their treasure chests, they offered Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.」 (Matthew 2:10-11) 《馬太福音》二章十至十一節：「他們看見那星、就大大的歡喜。進了房子、看見小孩子和他母親馬利亞、就俯伏拜那小孩子、揭開寶盒、拿黃金乳香沒藥為禮物獻給他。」
About 2,000 years ago, the three wisemen from the east 東方三博士came to Bethlehem 伯利恆, and had seemed knowing that the only reason that 「For onto us a Child was born,」 (Isaiah 9：6) 《以賽亞書》九章六節：「有一嬰孩為我們而生」 is for the Blood Business:
「The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). 《以賽亞書》五十三章五節：「因他受的刑罰我們得平安，因他受的鞭傷我們得醫治。」 「Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; but with the precious Blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.」 (I Peter 1:18-19) 《彼得前書》一章十八至十九節：「知道你們得贖，脫去你們祖宗所傳流虛妄的行為，不是憑著能壞的金銀等物，乃是憑著基督的寶血，如同無瑕疵無玷污的羔羊之血。」
Therefore, we can never afford His Blood to be stasis; it is the mystery why two of the three wisemen offered gifts of frankincense and myrrh to the newborn Child, because both Frankincense and Myrrh are herbs that promote blood flow (such as those in the formulation F130106 Qi Li San and F130113 Hu Luo Xiao Ling Dan). Indeed, H102018 Frankincense乳香, H102019 Myrrh沒藥, H151002 Styrax officinalis蘇合香, H151004 Borneol龍腦香 and H102026 Sanguis draconis血蠍 are all wound-healing resins from plants.
Perhaps, why the John Hopkins Hospital 約翰霍普金醫院 today has become the most famous medical center of the first class in the world, is that the Hopkins are blessed for understanding the herbal medicinal value of Frankincense and Myrrh. The following is the herbalic-concerning song, We Three Kings of Orient Are《東方三博士朝聖之歌》, written by one of the Hopkins 約翰霍普金賦詞譜曲 at the 19th century:
「We three kings of
Orient are 我們三博士來自東方，
Bearing gifts we traverse afar ……」 攜禮朝聖甘冒風塵茫茫；
「Frankincense
to offer have I 我今獻上乳香奇珍，
Incense owns a Deity nigh ……」 煙香讓我親近真神；
「Myrrh
is mine, its bitter perfume 沒藥雖苦卻氣息芬芳，
Breathes of life of gathering gloom ……」 預知救主降世將為我捨身。
7.6.2. The 2nd Gift of Myrrh & Aloes to the Savior 復活禮物： 沒藥 x 蘆薈
「And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pound weight.」 (John 19:39) 《約翰福音》十九章三十九節：「又有祭司尼哥諦慕，就是先前夜裡去見耶穌的，帶著沒藥和蘆薈的混合物，約有一百斤前來。」The mixture of H102019 myrrh沒藥 and H031004 aloes蘆薈 is a formulation, so that Nicodemus was not only a high priest but also an herbalist, because he had developed the single herbs into a formula. However, this mixture of myrrh and aloes is more likely a formula to arrest bleedings (p. 244H), since then the job for Jesus had been done and once for all: 「It is finished!」 (John 19:30). 《約翰福音》：十九章三十節：「成了！」 Therefore, thou shalt not want that Jesus would shed the blood for us every day; 「and sin no more.」 (John 8:11) 《約翰福音》：八章十一節：「從此不要再犯罪了。」 to be always blessable; for only 「The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.」 (James 5:16 NIV) 《雅各書》五章十六節：「義人的祈禱是大有功效的。」
