Hi Mingyu,after reading I had a strong feeling to be a mother,the sooner the better.Life must be so much fun with your kids.

It's very true. Being a mother to a female is a very important role to the society . This kind of happiness only after you are a mother, then you can feel the happiness.

We are pure Chinese. However, we are canadian citizens. Our family ( my husband, my daughter and I ) immigrated to Canada in 2001. We have my son in 2002. very fast, isn't it? Actually we didn't plan to have him so soon, but just like my friends suggested to me, sooner or late I would have my second child, The sooner, the better, just like the feeling you are having now.

In my opinion,Immigrating to canda, the way is different from individual. Some people feel very good, some not. I have a friend, who landed here for a short time, they went back to China, because they didn't like Canda at all. For me, I feel my kids are very happy here, the longer I stay, the more I love it! Thanks for my husband letting us immigrate to Canada-because We have never experience this kind of joy before! Thanks god! Thanks all people who have helped us!!

曾經聽得一位朋友說，移民對他是個絕大的錯誤，因為一入加拿大，他就成了倒霉蛋，什麼事都不順利，喝涼水也塞牙！他說好比下了一步最臭的棋，既恨自己布子不慎，又不知如何調整棋路，似乎一步錯步步錯，前景竟是全盤皆輸，令人心灰意冷！

而多數與我相識的朋友則說我幸運，到了加拿大好象更是順風順雨。也許吧，從出生到現在，我不記得有過大富大貴，但亦從未為生計發過愁。不過，天生操勞的命， 無論家境如何，亦不管在什麼樣的崗位，總是日出而作，日沒而息，沒有一天是清閑渡過的，如果不加規劃，甚至每天的時間都會不夠用，走起路來急急忙忙，語速 更是快得驚人，好象一輩子要活出兩輩子來一樣。我想，如果還有下輩子，我的人生之棋要慢些下，我寧願不要所謂的幸運，多享受一下布子的過程就夠了。

人們說移民是人生重大的轉折，如同下棋，非經過深思熟慮不可，很多事很多人在移民后都發生了意料不到的變化，不在少數的人們更是大談移民后的失落，而我，卻 無趣到幾乎將國內的生活照搬重演，本以為變幻棋路會使人生精彩豐富，卻原來仍是白白的做了一回無用功，新瓶老酒，換湯不換藥，此之謂也。

說 起移民的利弊，更是見仁見智的問題，全看個人的心性與適應力了。我的初衷是豐富經歷，但卻忘了生來分身乏術，原來一次只能布一個子，棋路是不能同時四處發展的。想要體察生活在異國的滋味（不是旅遊渡假），卻失去了目擊與參與近些年中國發展的機會，想在清新的空氣與美好的自然里終日淘醉，卻缺少了與多年親 朋故友用母語暢談通宵的快樂，更不用說成名成家成功成仁的種種誘惑，那是需有時代大舞台才可能上演的輝煌樂彩啊。時不利兮奈如何！總之，魚與熊掌之不能兼得，在短短一生中，實在是我這條勞碌命永遠無法平復的遺憾。

至於移民后的長進，倒有進一步退兩步的感覺。剛剛用子圍了一個邊，正覺著得意， 誰知角上不留心就被提了一片！英文嘛，好象是有了些進步，中文書卻再沒認真讀過幾本。西方文化前沿的邊沒有摸著，中國文化的根基卻越來越淺。獨立自理的能 力似乎突飛猛進，卻也日漸流失柔美的性徵。交了一大堆天南地北種族各異的朋友，半夜時分醒來最懷念的，還是初工作時住同一筒子樓的難兄難弟們。如我一樣的 多數移民，最美好的青春時光是在故國渡過的，無論是周末的聚餐，還是郊外的野遊，都是那樣的刻骨銘心，永不磨滅。異鄉的奮鬥，不管是不是追逐理想的夢，也不論最終是否有所成就，說到底，都是夕陽無限好，可惜近黃昏了。

幾年的移民生活，因了工作的關係，見識過無數出色的朋友，也目擊了不少家庭 的解體。有人說分離帶來了分心，誰知道分心是不是早在分離前就已經開始？無數事例讓我不由得不信服：兩情若是久長時，又豈在朝朝暮暮！移民不是愛情褪色與變質的內因，它不過是催化劑罷了，為情所誤的人們歸罪於分離，這也許是減輕痛苦與自責的最好方法吧，但我卻實在有理由不相信。難道因為棋子換了一種走法，原來的黑白就會顛倒嗎？

人生如棋，在我看來，移民亦無非是人生棋盤上眾多走法的一種，是贏是輸在一開頭是難以預料的。不過，選擇移民的多數人當然是想贏，至少期望比其他的下法有更好的結局。或許少數人只是因為厭倦了老套的走法，想要變一些花樣，但他們的內心，恐怕也不會甘心一敗塗地。

所以，移民之後的每個人，如果仔細比較，即使不比從前強，也至少是一樣強的。而迴流，表面上很象悔棋，其實並不能真正回到起點，而是又一次新的選擇與開拓，仍要試探著前行，同樣難以逆料前途是凶是吉，結局是輸是贏。因此之故，我敬佩有勇氣移民並堅持下來的人們，也同樣敬佩意無反顧的迴流，無論以何種的方式，亦無論是為了什麼原因。

棋行天下，棋路漫漫，結局固然重要，但真正的高手，最看重的還是下子的過程，因為他明白，只要下好每一步，他就是最後的贏家。至於我，一個看來幸運的快棋手，因為太快，錯過了太多的棋路風景，也肯定錯過了不少與高手交鋒的樂趣，我想該是慢下來的時候了。

I plan to be a mother next year,guess then i will experienced the fun which i could never imagine.In China you could only have one kid.Part of the reason that made emigration more attractive is,i could have more kids in Canada.
Regarding emigration,for me,the fact that we could not be surrounded by old friends and relatives---this is really hard for me to cure.But my husband said we could still come back and live in China...Nevertheless,considering the political system and living condition here,emigration is a need for us.
May I ask you some questions?
1) your emigration type? how much/long does it take?
2) living level in  Vancouver,Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal...?as for a Southern Chinese,which one is "warmer?" :-))

[B]Sorry, because I didn't live in Vancouver, ottava or Montreal, so I couldn't give any comments of those place  to  you! I just live in Toronto. The longer I stay, the more I like it!! So I did in Bijing!![/B] [B]However, from what I know,
It is much warmer in Ottwa than in Toronto.  So Ottawa is the sourthern place  to Chinese.[/B]

Sorry, I didn't realize i did  teach my son to " tell a lie ". however, my son is so slow to learn it. because a good child, even if  you want to teach him to tell a tie, is still tell the truth. My son loves me and he listens me so he said 2, however, he is 3, he said 3. Who said my son is not cute? and after that who said I was dishonest again? if you did so, half right! because life is life, we don't need to be so serious, then we enjoy life and lead an easy life!
