My property tax is twice as much as yours but I don't complain...
Long time ago, there was a distinguished psychologist in US (taking any psychology class in the States?). He proposed a well-known theory which arrranges human needs in hierarchies. The theory is a foundation, on which the modern behavioral science is based.
The order of the needs is physiological needs (eat, drink, shelter...), safety needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self-fulfillment needs.
What you talked about in the above post is mainly about physiological needs, the needs of a wanting animal, the lowest needs of a human being. I have long passed that one.
It is those needs that separated you and you friend from me.
I hesitated to tell you and your friend about this theory, because I was considering whether there was a need to make you and your friend "in pain" with me. Anyway, al least, you'll learn something from me. I assume you'd never heard the theory when you wrote above post, otherwise you wouldn't have bragged about your satisfaction of the most base needs of a humanoid. |
