除了表達方式，另外，請教一下，記單詞有什麼訣竅嗎？在母語中不成為問題的辭彙，在英語中由於不常用，背了有時能記住，如果一時間用不到，半年一年後如果想用到卻記不全、拼不對了，比如最近「又」在看到、背到的我自認為的「高級」單詞：impulsive (衝動）、metaphor（比喻)、physiology(生理）等等（這些單詞肯定不是第一次看到），這些單詞不是太常用的，但是我希望能比較永久地能記住，有訣竅嗎？

去找一本構詞法的書來看看。amazon 上用 etymology （構詞法）找本趣味性強一些的書來讀讀，會大有幫助。「秀才念半邊」，英語的單詞一多半都是從拉丁文、古希臘語來的，知道了詞根，很多生詞就不難猜出意思來。
比如：impulsive  --- pulse = 脈搏，ive = 形容詞根，im = in, impulsive = in a heart beat  「脈搏跳一下就幹了的」  = impulsive = 衝動的.
physiology: physi （= 肌體的） + ology （學問） = 研究肌體的學問 、生物機理學
biology = bio （= life)  + ology = 生命的學問= 生物學
biography = bio + graph （文字圖片）= 關於 life 的圖文 = 傳記
auto = self;   autobiography = the life story of oneself = 自傳
automobile = auto + mobile (移動）= 自己會走的車  = （小）汽車 （因為小汽車在所有汽車中出現得最早）
