這位1976年出生於荷蘭Leiden的年輕DJ，如今已經是百大DJ排行第一寶座，站立於DJ台上讓所有舞迷們頂禮膜拜的天皇！年輕的他除了是全球知名GodsKitchen當家台柱外，早年便享有荷蘭Trance三巨頭之一的盛名，注重旋律的優美性與vocal的協調性結合的他，強勢性地主導了全球Trance音樂的發展。

19歲時已創作出膾炙人口的經典作品Blue Fear，受到許多知名DJ如Tiesto的強烈推薦，首張原創專輯《76》提名了美國Dancestar [最佳新進藝人專輯]獎項，2005年推出的專輯《Shivers》更再度證明他非同凡響的音樂造詣。今年早些時候，他的專輯"Imagine"打入排行榜第一，這是荷蘭DJ有史以來最好的成績。"Imagine"發布的第一支單曲"Going Wrong"已經成為了世界熱門Trance曲目，並在大榜單中最終名列前5。新發行的DVD"Armin Only: Imagine"最近已經連續3周保持第一名的銷售成績。在美國的邁阿密「國際舞曲獎」頒獎會上，Armin成功加冕「最佳歐洲DJ」的桂冠，並再次憑藉"A State of Trance"衛冕「最佳電台節目」獎。

08年的DJ MAG TOP 100DJ 投票，他再次蟬聯DJ冠軍寶座。
