Exciting news from occupied Turtle Island. The Lakota People have renounced their U.S. citizenship and withdrawn from all treaties with the illegitimate U.S. government (founded upon conquest and genocide), denouncing them as 「worthless words on worthless paper,」 and have established an autonomous liberated territory.

The Lakota Indians, who gave the world legendary warriors Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse, have withdrawn from treaties with the US. 「We are no longer citizens of the United States of America and all those who live in the five-state area that encompasses our country are free to join us,」 long-time Indian rights activist Russell Means said. A delegation of Lakota leaders has delivered a message to the State Department, and said they were unilaterally withdrawing from treaties they signed with the federal government of the US, some of them more than 150 years old. The group also visited the Bolivian, Chilean, South African and Venezuelan embassies, and would continue on their diplomatic mission and take it overseas in the coming weeks and months.

The newly-formed autonomous country aims to issue its own passports and drivers licenses, and there will be no taxes. Anyone is welcome to live in the new country, they say, as long as they renounce their U.S. citizenship.

That last part is particularly interesting to me, as I did exactly this, long ago, before a judge, in a court of 「law」 (although all record of this seems to have vanished, which can often happen with the testimony of Rainbow Warriors). I』m very excited to learn how the new country plans to self-organize. This should be very interesting.

I support my Lakota sisters and brothers in this act of liberatory freedom, autonomy, independence, and true self-determination. I recognize the legitimacy of their right to form an autonomous and de-colonized liberated territory.
