雲雨幽媾賦
-----致愛侶

喜清涼之甘霖兮，感皇天之恩澤；增後土之豐美，充繾綣之情懷；
浴蘭靄之清芬，濯息壤之肥沃，交明光兮煌煌！
驟雨遽來，步旦夕之節律，任翻覆兮纏綿，見煥然兮頃刻。

令玄黃兮清幽，望芳草兮凝碧。
華之灼灼，感豪雨之灌溉，作凌波之微步。
含苞兮吐葩，或疾或徐，盡聲色之妖嬈。
踏人生之徵途，閱世情之冷暖，迎面兮料峭點點。
御風乎舞雩，驚心而動魄，美哉壯哉，廣遨遊之以太！

The Reward of Rain

I love the rain, the clear cool rain.
A'falling to the earth;
A magic moisture from above.
That fills my heart with mirth.
It cleanses air, and washes land.
And gustens in the light.
It comes to us most any time,
In midst of day or night.
Sometimes I think 't'will never stop;
Then suddenly it clears
and the results of all its work
So suddenly appears.
The world is clearn. The grass is green.
And flowers seem to dance.
Because the rain, the precious rain,
had given them a chance.
To thrive and grow and even show.
Their color, and their form,
In gentle rain, a gentle rain.
Or torrents of the storm.
I walk in peace, observing all.
with rain upon my face.
For rain reminds me once again,
The world's a wondrous place.
