50th anniversary of the Tibetan Uprising Day

[size=1.56em]Authorities closed the last window into a restive Tibetan region in western China on Monday, tightening its security cordon on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the failed uprising that sent the Dalai Lama into exile. Beijing is trying to head off trouble around March 10, which marks the start of the 1959 abortive Tibetan revolt against Chinese rule. A peaceful commemoration last year by monks in Lhasa, Tibet's regional capital, erupted into anti-Chinese rioting four days later and spread to surrounding provinces -- the most sustained and violent demonstrations by Tibetans in decades. （中央社記者周盈成伯恩10日專電）瑞士藏人團體今天在伯恩舉行西藏抗暴50周年示威遊行，逾千人在中國駐瑞士大使館外呼喊「停止西藏殺戮」等口號。

這場遊行中午在使館區的土恩廣場（Thunplatz）集結，現場一片雪山獅子旗海，示威者抬著象徵藏人半世紀來遭中共鎮壓犧牲的50具道具棺木，遊行到中國大使館外抗議。警方在使館前方的小巷設下拒馬，因此示威者離大使館仍有數十公尺距離，以英語高喊「停止西藏殺戮」、「中國人民覺醒」、「西藏人要人權」、「達賴喇嘛萬歲」、「釋放政治犯」等口號，並唱西藏歌曲、為死難者默哀、念誦經文等。

據主辦團體之一「瑞士及列支敦斯登藏人社區」（Tibetan Coummunity Switzerland & Liechtenstein）發言人彭措甘頌桑（音譯）說，現場大約有1100人，但下午3時許移師聯邦廣場（Bundesplatz）預計人數會更多。

新華網巴黎３月１０日電（記者鄭甦春　李學梅）法國執政黨人民運動聯盟副主席、巴黎市議員阿蘭·德斯特姆１０日譴責市政府每年３月１０日懸掛「藏獨」旗幟「雪山獅子旗」的做法。

在德斯特姆發表演講幾小時后，兩名華人出現在巴黎市政府門前，將旗杆上的繩索扯開，把「藏獨」旗幟降了下來，扔在地上。在場的法國中歐名流協會秘書長吳忠表示，作為海外華僑，他衷心希望中法兩國維持良好關係，但西藏問題是中國的內政，他們絕不能接受任何國家對此橫加干涉。

環球時報特約記者李秋恆報導，據澳大利亞《堪培拉時報》網站10日報導，『藏獨』支援者當天在中國駐堪培拉使館前舉行抗議，並與警方發生衝突。報導說，至少10多名抗議者試圖衝突警方封鎖線，其中一名女性在脖子上纏繞『藏獨』旗幟，但迅即被警察制服。警方逮捕了至少2名男性抗議者，其中一人向中國使館扔鞋。

　　當天早些時候，包括澳大利亞綠黨領袖鮑勃‧布朗在內的多名議員在議會草坪與150多名『藏獨』支援者舉行集會。布朗在講話時聲稱，澳總理陸克文和反對黨自由黨領袖特恩布爾應該『支援西藏獨立』。
