The reason is very simple, to do a study like this, you have to randomized two group of kids to the fruit group, vs the placebo group, then you follow them for the next 5-10 years to look for differences in leukemia incidence. Considering the low baseline leukemia incidence, you need to have a huge study population to observe a hypothesized, statistically significant differences. 328 subjects are far from enough. Any other studies are meaningless and should be thrown out, period. |
