Are we supposed to really do some serious studying, or just read over the passage and share some immediate impression about the passage?

The term "咒詛" appears three times in chapter 3 and 4. The first time it was associated with the serpent. The second time it was associated with the land, the third time, Cain.
One thing I would like to point out: none of the curses really applies to the human race directly in general. This is rather significant. The sin of Adam and Even was partly responsible for the curse. However, God did not curse humanity directly. He cursed the serpent, and the land because of sin of human, but somehow God avoided cursing humanity directly. I believe here also foreshadowed God's grace for humanity.
