Couple of days ago I went out on a trip to Las Vegas. I had not been there for 7 years since moved out of Los Angeles. I found big changes happened in Las Vegas. Not just came some new casino resorts, like Wynn, nor changed some casinos' names, like Aladin became Planet Hollywood. I mean the culture around the city. In the past all doors on the Strip were of casinos. Now you can find bars, restaurants, high class departments, even CVS on the strip! In short, more commercial than just gambling.
Las Vegas was the first and last stop of my trip. My whole travel schedule was, Las Vegas -> Zion NP -> Bryce Canyon NP -> Glen Canyon -> Grand Canyon NP-> Las Vegas. I was planning to Grand Canyon north rim because I've been to south rim many times already. Not lucky enough the road to north rim was blocked by taller than 3 feet snow.
I'm going to post photos from each stop in the next few days (weeks?). First come Las Vegas buildings -- Outside. Almost every building is on Strip except Rio. Starting building is Venetian. Hope you will enjoy them.
Thanks! |
