Glen Canyon dam is one of dams built on Colorado river. Lake Powell is the byproduct of this dam. Lake Powell is famous for its water recreation activities and sightseeing. But what I was interested in more are Wave and Antelope Canyon. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to go these two places. You guys could surf the internet to find how beautiful these two places are, especially for photographers. It is easy for you to visit the Antelope Canyon but people usually have to wait for couple of days to have a chance to access Wave because there are only twenty permits per days to Wave and the lottery for the walk-in permits takes place in the morning every day. Even you get the permits there is 6 miles desert trail (round trip) waiting for you. More challenge is the lottery of tickets is held almost 36 miles from Page where people usually stay. So you have to drive there first, which sucks the most.
As Hoover Dam, everybody on earth knows it. I don't want to waste you time to say anything.
Colorado river Horseshoe. The second one is of combined. My lens was not wide enough, At least 21mm for full frame camera, 18mm probably would be better. Mine is 27mm equivalent.
Yes, yours was also from Glen Canyon Dam. But you were lucky enough to have a dam tour. Mine was canceled due to the strong wind so I did not have chances to get to the bottom.
