犯人是真的得救了，還是僅僅被安慰了一下
你看過去歐洲處決犯人的時候，都會叫個牧師在邊上幫犯人禱告一番：主啊，饒恕這個孩子吧，一切罪惡都消散，讓他的靈魂隨你去，...之類的話。

我覺得這反映了歐洲文化中人性的一面，是對即將面對極刑的犯人的一種臨終關懷，減少他臨死前的恐懼。但牧師的祈禱靈不靈就是另外一回事了。

堅信的基督徒們大概不能接受牧師的刑前祈禱只是安慰犯人的說法，那就要談及"信則一切罪惡歸零"的話題了，古代處死的絕大多數犯人，在當時算是罪大惡極的人，如果他們臨死一信，就可洗脫一生的罪惡，終生信教行善又有何意義？

現在，歐洲廢除了死刑，推遲了罪大惡極的人靈魂得救的時刻表，是不是對犯人太缺德了點啊？！

除了褻瀆聖靈的罪，永不得赦免以外，其他的罪都可以得到赦免。當然褻瀆聖靈的罪通常人是不會犯的，也許只有法利賽文士才會犯這樣的罪。

其他罪雖然都可能得到赦免，但是赦免不赦免的主權在於上帝，而不在於人自己。

這位牧師說臨死前懺悔就可以上天堂.

Sis. Allen,

It really depends on what is meant by a deathbed confession. To confess that we are sinners will not get us to heaven. But to acknowledge that we are sinners in need of a Savior, and to appeal to and confess Jesus Christ as our own Lord and Savior, yes, this will result in salvation. As long as there is breath in our body, we have the opportunity to be saved. The rule of salvation is for the living.

The Scripture that speaks well to this has to do with the thief on the cross. This man confessed Jesus to be Lord and Messiah. He asked the Lord to remember him in His kingdom. Jesus said the condemned thief would be with Him in paradise. I would certainly call that deathbed repentance, or the confession unto life.

The point is that Jesus came to be the Savior of all men. Until death actually takes the sinner from this life, the rule of salvation still applies, deathbed or no. The apostles said that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

所以基督教對阻止犯罪分子犯法理論上沒有什麼實際作用.
監獄基督徒比例較高,也是個旁證.
對社會秩序和社會道德從理論上來講應該沒有多大貢獻.
不過基督教對不信基督教的懲罰對招來信徒卻是十分有效的.
這是基督教的擅長,是基督教經久不息衰的原因.

犯人得不得救。要看地不地震。《使徒行傳》第16章提到，保羅去監獄救犯人。但犯人手上的鏈條不是保羅打開的，是地震震開的。
