If not being saved by God first, can anybody set his faith on God?
On earth, does not God's salvation make the sinner to set the faith on God?
Logically, does God move the sinner to accept the Gospel first and then the involved sinner accepts the Gospel; or the sinner based on his sinful nature to make correct decision to accept Gospel and then God goes ahead to save him based on his correct action?
God's willing everyone always staying with God was demonstrated from creation throghgh entire Bible and He actually accomplihed His will through sending Jesus to the world as Savior. Upon accomplishment of salvation, the creation will eventually be restored as His original planned purpose.
However, during this process, someone will be destroyed, namely Satan and his followers. Those facts are revealed in the Bible and we see the evidence on our eyes.
Is this contradicting with the will of God? I believe not. Detailed reason why God allows Satan and his followers to come to this world and to exist, we may not know; but, we should have basic trust: that is necessary for fulfilling the will of God.
Brother, I think the key of difference is how to explain why someone accept Gospel and someon not.
Some great theologians have attibuted this to God and some to men. For the instance of acceptance, there is no big issue; but for the instance of no acceptance, there is issue of God' s intent.
The common understanding: anything good is God's merit; anything evil is done by creature's abusing his ability.
I think what we are discussing can apply flatly to this common understanding.
Brother, you have to fill up the gap between the people God desire to save and the people God actually saved if you insist on the difference between the two.
What is your explanation for the Gap? In your expressed opinion, the difference comes from different choices of people.
What is your unexpressed opinion? The saved people are saved by themselves through their correct choices. Are there any other difference between saved and unsaved, based on whatever you mentioned today?
