「汽車後市場」是 automotive aftermarket 嗎？

余為寫博聞《「后達賴時期」與達賴喇嘛的生死》查閱資料。其間，遇「汽車後市場」一詞。一時之間，頗為躊躇，未知其為何。

此詞不符漢語組詞規律，語義費解，定非漢語血統，有舶來詞之嫌。於是，上谷歌搜索器，究其來源。按下回車，結果顯現。果不其然，彼乃英詞automative aftermarket直譯而來。

查閱automative aftermarket英文解釋。得之如下。

Automative aftermarket is an industry that encompasses all products and services purchased for light and heavy duty vehicles after the original sale including replacement parts, accessories, lubricants, appearance products, service repairs as well as the tools and equipment necessary to make the repair.

顯然，所謂「汽車後市場」實為「汽車售後服務市場」。用戶購得汽車后，如需要零部件、附屬品、潤滑油、裝飾物、維修工具以及維修服務等等，均可前往此市場，必有收穫。

翻譯人為求效率而忽略效果事常有發生。用戶因為不諳英文，以至艱澀譯文肆行。「汽車後市場」僅為一例也。

很多從英語翻譯過來的「后什麼什麼」都是錯誤的不準確的。

例如，后達賴時期應該是達賴后時期。如果事後達賴時期的話，意思就是說達賴時期有前後兩段了。這是和原文不一樣的。

再如，后金融危機、后金正日、后殖民時期等等都是錯誤的。
