maybe these definitions are from the ancient China, when people put different values on these items so China might be more expensive than Crystal.

u guys worry too much, don't be fooled by the nominal meaning.
quality is very important to determine which is more expensive.

Quality??? i am confused!

for example,
a poor quality diamond not necessary worths more than a good quality ruby.

all these sound illogical to me!
