sb. to do sth. 期望某人做某事
不知道大家有沒有這樣的經歷，吃飯時，老媽慈祥地看著你，說：「你過得開心就好，我可不指望老了的時候，你來養活我。」這「指望某人做某事」就是「expect sb to sth」。別以為這個片語太過普通，多和老外聊聊天，你就知道它有多「偉大」了。現在，我們一起來操練一下吧！]
