為什麼這個鳥叫「紅衣主教」，還有更好的翻譯嗎？（Cardinal in my yard 3)

這張比第二帖里的那張好。

這種鳥姿態優雅氣宇軒昂, 也許起名兒者亦有這層意思; 與小說'紅與黑'的作者異曲同工, 有比較深的涵義.

在網上看了一下百科全書（wikipedia - a free encyclopedia) 書上說這鳥所以叫「紅衣主教」是因為雄鳥的紅色羽毛象
天主教的紅衣主教的禮服。

the cardinals family of passerine birds found in north and south america...the family is named for the red plumage
(like that of a catholic cardinal's vestments) of male of the type species, the northern cardinal.
