國防科工委的很多研究所都在那裡,所以台灣的救援隊都不允許進入。我本來的想法和LZ一樣。
i don't think it is the reason. now a lot of foreign reporters are in that area. some of reporters are even getting close to beichuan but stuck somewhere 30 miles away due to the landslides.
foreign aids like equipment, medicine, tents, food, bottle waters, or even money would be most welcome. foreign rescue crews would be more a burden for chinese government. the government has to organize interpretors, takes care of them, watch out the safety for them. besides, they can't get in those hardest hit area until the roads are cleared up, unless they are willing to hike for 100 km or more to get there (chinese troops and rescue teams hiked over mountains, from 60 miles to over 100 miles, with average from 6km per hour to even 8km per hour). those chinese soldiers working 14, 16 hours a day, with their bare hands, with minimum heavy equipment available, minimum rations of food and water. in some locations, some of soldiers have not slept over 30 some hours...
it is just not practical to have foreign rescue crews on the ground... |
