一念善即是天堂,一念惡即是地獄。
與良心同在就是天堂,與良心隔絕就是地獄。
與信神或者信佛沒有關係。
It's okay if you think of "heaven" and "hell" independent of religions. Most people ask the questions you have had here from all religions. I am a Christian, but I will answer your questions like the way being asked:
Heaven is where (God says) we should go but we are not willing to because it is hard to climb up there ourselves;
Hell is where (God says) we should not go but we are willing to because it is easy to slide down there ourselves.
Neither is a physical place, I agree. But I won't agree with "一念善即是天堂,一念惡即是地獄", this sounds more like a FEELING of our daily life experience than a real domain. Personally I think that you can experience the feeling of being in somewhere without actually being there.
I also can't agree with "與信神或者信佛沒有關係". Because though the feeling of being in Heaven or Hell might have the same effects on living people of different religions today, the real meaning of Heaven or Hell in various religions is inevitably ONE ---->Final destination of our souls. Who and how to get to either place, in what shapes and forms are based on what you believe in now. In this sense there can be only one faith (or religion), which determines soul being of an individual on earth. If we don't care about after life, the feelings will be enough to get you by daily. But if you go beyond the earthly feelings in Heaven or in Hell, instead pursue the true spritiual life now and beyond. What you belive in is crucial. You can make a comparison study of both Christianity and Buddasim, in term of means and ways to get to Heaven or Hell on their terms, it will be interesting, but please do it privately as I dont' want you to stir the hot pot here. |
