Abroad Chinese

Water move when there are somewhere lower than where they are. Chinese just like water, they move when there are opportunities. Since the day they heard that there were gold mines in America, a lot of them moved to there, although they known there are many difficulties, language, food, the dangers on the way to America, etc. Today, what they have been through has become a part of history. They have children, grandchildren even grand-grandchildren here. They all live here as the other races who before them came. Maybe because this, the thoughts of those old immigration and their posterities, have changed, even become completely different.

As the economies of China are growing fast, more and more people are willing to immigrate to other country or study in other country. U.S.A. is one of the most popular destinations to Chinese. It cannot be imaged what would happen when the new immigrations meet the olds. Normally, they won』t ask each other for help, or in other words, they won』t become friends, because they usually look down upon each other. The old immigrations are thinking, 『why should I help them? I have been working here for almost a hundred year, nobody can image how hard for me to live in here in that time. They should be through what I have been through.』 And the new immigrations are thinking, 『why should I help them? Where did they go when our grandfathers were fighting with enemies, they fled! They preferred to be a slave, rather than giving a hand to their mother country!』 Of course, the views of them might not collect and completed, but that could be the mainly reason why they don』t help each other.

Not only the first generation of immigrations doesn』t like each other, but the posterity of them also doesn』t. It』s rare to see those play together because they can』t understand each other totally (the posterity of old generation often are English native speakers), sometimes they don』t talk to the other much, although they know they are American-Chinese, or they all look like Chinese.

In my opinion, a normal worker with respectable qualification who gets a good job to feed the family, he will despise the rich man who has no qualification; on the same way, the rich man would look down upon the normal worker who has studied hard, those are typical Chinese. Although every single Chinese has their own thought, they have a common thought, and that』s hope that China, their mother land can develop and prosper quickly.

instead of 'abroad Chinese', the title should be Chinese Abroad. However, your
essay only talked about Chinese immigrants in the United States, you probably
should change your title to something like 'Chinese immigrants in the United States'.
