這些是口語化的辭彙.你在報上是很少看到的.有些中國學生TOEFL成績很高,但寫作分不高.特別是給學校的申請信中充滿了口語化辭彙.自己覺得很溜,實際上只有反作用,申請理工科對這些要求差一些,但申請文科和工商則會受影響.請注意這段話不是針對這個貼子說的.而是藉機發揮.

各類申請信包括求職信都應使用Academic English.比如
獲得學位不要寫
I　got B.A. from McGill University.
而說：
Ｉreceived B.A. from McGill University.

我有很多興趣愛好.
不要寫
I have a lot of interests.
而寫
I have a number of interests such as ...

我看到了你們登在MCGILL日報上的廣告,對你的職位很感興趣.
不要寫
I saw your ad on McGill's daily and I'm very interested in your job.
而寫
I am greatly interested in your position that you post on the McGill Daily of April 19th, 2003.

謝謝你的補充montrealer,你說的很有道理，對於英語初學者來說，學習口語非常，但是口語好並不代表英語好，當我們每一個人在進一步學習英語的時候都有必要對英語本身作進一步認識。當然了，學習本身也是一個循序漸進的過程。
