　　戴菲菲出生在江蘇南京，7歲學習藝術體操，12歲來到廣東藝術體操隊，后隨隊獲得第九屆全國運動會冠軍，在2001年北京世界大學生運動會上她與隊友合作獲得藝術體操兩枚金牌！在成為世界冠軍后，菲菲進入北京大學新聞與傳播學院成為一名北大學子。就是她的這些經歷，使她成為
深圳申辦2011年大運會形象大使的最佳人選，並最終幫助深圳申辦成功！在都靈大運會執委會上，戴菲菲典雅的氣質，美麗的面龐，高挑的身材，流利的英文陳述，讓這位中國的形象大使被外電稱讚為中國茉莉花。
