The Peace Arch stands as a symbol of enduring friendship between Canada and the U.S.A. Construction was started in 1919. Completed
in 1921 as the world's first peace arch. The Arch was conceived by an American, Samuel Hill. It was built to celebrate 100 years of peace (1814 - 1914) between The rolling green lawns of Peace Arch Park.

Canada and the U.S.A., after the treaty of Ghent in 1814. It also commemorates the Rush-Bagot Agreement, by which the line from the
Bay of Fundy to the Strait of Juan De Fuca has been ungarrissoned since 1817.

The arch was built by workmen from both sides, who laboured to complete a monument that would last forever. The arch, facing north
and south, half in each country, is built along classic Greek-Doric design and rises to a height of 67 feet. It is surrounded by grass and
the well-kept flower gardens of Peace Arch Park.

謝謝夢兒的片片和介紹, 很美麗的Peace Arch Park, 這Peace Arch 應該說還是歐洲風格吧.

拍攝的很美麗、乾淨。看上去很親切。謝謝夢兒。

同意綠袖子的看法。後面幾張的海水和綠地多一些就更好了。

熟悉的西海岸公園。這幾天從那裡穿越了好幾次。邊境官員都快認識我了。那邊的日落晚霞非常漂亮。6月下旬開始的持續十天的萬里晴空算是不多見的。

所有照片都是在車上拍的,還隔著一條車道,角度不對,構圖不理想.

最後一張拍攝時間將近晚上十點了,如果早一些會非常的美.
