90年代初就成立了的Rialto在1997年進行了重組，由融合The Beatles加
Punk/Glam Rock的Kinky Machine核心搭檔Louis Elliot與Jonny Bull
改組而來，當時是組配備有雙大鼓的6人樂隊。第2年他們發行了首張同
名專輯Rialto。
90年代Brit-pop大潮中轉瞬即逝的一顆流星，雖然燃燒的火光如此短暫，但還是在剎那溫暖了無數孤獨的靈魂。這首有著濃厚懷舊情懷的歌出自樂隊98年的同名專輯。Vocal聽上去遙遠空寂，彷彿出自老舊的唱片。歌者平靜地唱著一段逝去的愛情，等待著一個不會再回頭的女子，空氣里彌散著絲絲縷縷的悲涼和傷痛。聽著這樣的歌躁動的心也會慢慢平靜下來，不經意地勾起某些塵封的過往。喜歡這首歌，喜歡這種淡淡的緬懷。
這張Rialto讓世人驚艷於他們承接Scott Walker/Phil Spector與Johh Barry
的完美編曲聲響，建立他們幾乎可媲美Pulp/My Life Story與Divine Comedy
等同儕的優雅曲式實力。
這裡推薦的是summer is over。Rialto的音樂里常見到的煽情感，大電影
色彩和soundtrack感在這首summer is over里表露無疑。即使他們以後有
了monday_morning_519，我個人最喜歡的卻還是這首summer is over。
01年的Rialto發行了第2張專輯Night on Earth后就解散了。Louis說，落
幕前就知道再也沒有返場的演出了。
