How to become a great boss or a wonderful employee

Did you ever have a great boss?
or do you think you are a wonderful employee?
could you tell me why?  Everyone should have one or some of them are , but not enough people do. If you're a boss, or hope to become one, or have a less-than-great boss, then now give you a chance and room to write something about your ideal boss, which will change your career-and your life. because I always believe change is brought by thinking.

In times like these, being a great boss can be harder than ever. If you want surprising and useful advice on how to handle the tough stuff -- from having to fire a long-time employee to being a new boss with a demoralized team -- the stories, observations, and advice contained in this thread will set your feet in the right direction. And if you just want advice on living up to the legend who preceded you in the job, or even ways to emulate someone who was a great boss to you, we will gather anecdotes from some of the mightiest and most respected bosses all over the world . so friends, feel free to write down what you want to say about a gread boss or even a great employee.

For every boss who has implied "I know what's best, that's why I'm the boss," Fox counsels, "Listen to Phonies, Fools, and Frauds" and "Don't Check Expense Accounts." our  stories from bosses who have cared equally for employees' lives and the bottom line will inspire us  to see that profit counts, but so do camaraderie, motivation, and a great place to work.

In a time of considerable corporate downsizing, it's more important than ever for bosses to surround themselves with motivated employees. our newest volume will have a place on the cloumn  of top brass everywhere who want to remain leaders of their pack.

As to an employee, I believe you have plenty of thoughts about being a your ideal boss, in return, If you are a boss, how would you like your employees to be? than you will do like that, right? relationship is mutual, please think others before yourself, then the world is filled with love, isn't it?
If every people could change a little bit and each has a heart of accepting others' change, that will be great, right?

I always belive "眾人拾材火焰高"
let's start altogether. Our book will have your effort, right?
Don't hesitate. Just write down any of your thoughts about a great boss or even a wonderful employee.because I know everybody likes to talk about and everybody wants to enhance our status, so let's unit together.

I will very appreciate whatever you write. Thanks a lot in advance! I am looking forward to your any reply.

have a wonderful day. May you have a great boss, if not now, hopefully in the new future you will have one, or you can become one yourself or you can become a wonderful employee..."無限遐想中"...

A great boss should care about his employee from many aspects, meanwhile, this boss will have his wonderful employee work for him with full of heart. right, friends? Just like said in the thread, relationship is mutual, right? so I always think goodness will be rewarded by the good sooner or later. in my opinion, the sooner, the better!
If you agree or disagree with me, say something, anything, or even yes, or no!

you know that business doesnt always mean friendship..especially in this country..you would be happy if your boss think of the connection he shares with you a " mutual" situation.

and sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you work, what matters is how good you can talk to your boss into giving you a raise..

yes. i agree. the boss is also a human being and has all the weakness of a human being. so more than often, the number one thing is to make sure that he or she is happy with you. working hard or making contributions can become a secondary consideration at times especially when your colleagues are playing politics and trying to play it a lot.

The relationship between employer and employee

The relationship between employer and employee forms the conrnerstone of the sociological study of work.

By centering our analysis on workplace relations and the organizational structures in which these are embedded, we are able to address many of the core themes of classical sociological theory, including inequality and the distribution of scarece resources, power and how it takes shape in authority relations, and the shaky balance between the ever-present potential for conflict and the need for cooperation and  consensus.

A basic problem in all societies involves the distribution. Put more concretely, who gets the well-paying, interesting, and high-status jobs?

who is most vulnerable to unemployment? How does cooperation among employees and between management and employees occur?

To what extent are employees integrated into their work organizations?

Are there inherent conflicts of interest between employers and employees?

Being a great employee is not easy, being a good boss to all the employees is even harder!
the only thing, we all try our best, then the relationship will get better and better.
how do you think?

May all the relationship be better and better, the relationship between bosses and employees, the one between couples, the one beteen parents and children, the relationship among friends...

Great bosses are used to be great employees.  They quite understand what emplyees wishes and thoughts from their own experience and feeling.  Have you heard that saying quoted: When you are an employee, you only have one boss, when you are an employer, everyone could be you boss.  It may be a subtext which means being a boss is overloaded and overwhelmed, though with more money or can act very bossy.  I believe that being a capable person with good heart is the first of first, with this premise, you'll be a great and successful in certain way, doesn't matter be a boss or employee. Right?
