there is a fairly well known little story... a young man is about to leave the little village to seek a better life outside, the header of the village, a wise man of couse, gave him an envelop and told him to open when reaching his destination. He did, and inside the envolop was "不要怕 ".
many many years later, after many ups and downs of life, the young man was getting old himself and went back where he came from. Upon arrival he was told that the old wise man had long passed away, and he was caring about the young man enough that he specially left another envelop. Inside was "don't regret".

many decisions in life cqn hardly be deemed as "good" or "bad". There are pro and con, from either side. There are unknowns. There are risks. There are things that can't be quantified, calulated, or simply out of one's control. Whichever decisions we made, hopefully it's a rational one based on educated guess of future developments. Stay within one's comfortable level of risk tolerance.
And, once we made the decision, stick. Don't wave, don't flip flop, don't forget the priorities that defined your reasoning at the first place. Go on with life.
