trouble to get on internet

tried to get on internet (CABLE)via a netgear router(4 port) AFTER REINSTALLED WINDOW CHINESE SIMPLYFIED xp SP 2;

INETWIZ USED AS WELL, BUT CANNOT GO ON NET. HAVE NOT GOT CLUE.

OTHER MACHINES CAN GO ON WITHOUT PROBLEMS. [:467:]

VERY UPSET.

Please check the CABLE between your computer and the router. Replace it with another one and see if you can connect to the Internet again.

NetGear router has a built-in DHCP server. You should enable the DHCP functionality on NetGear and make your computer network card to "Obtain IP automatically". If you want DHCP to be disabled in Netgear, you must know how to configure a valid IP address as well as GATEWAY, DNS etc. manually for your computer.

另外一個可能的原因是你的瀏覽器配置不對。如果你用IE，察看「工具」-〉「Intenet 選項」-〉「連接」選項卡-〉『區域網設置』按鈕-〉取消「為LAN使用代理伺服器」。

in the end I found that the slot for the network pci card got troubl, once I changed slot, everything gose fine.
